Zaans Schans, Netherlands | A Windmill village

Zaans Schans is a beautiful Dutch village where the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. It’s a unique part of the Netherlands full of working windmills, wooden houses, mills, and cheese museums.

How to reach Zaans Schans?

Zaandijk – Zaanse Schans is the nearest railway station for reaching Zaans Schans village. Check entire route and landmarks to look out for reaching the village by walk.

Open Air Museum

Zaans Schans looks like an open-air museum and has become very popular recently worldwide. It is free to walk around and take pictures. With its greenhouses, it displays the traditional architecture of the area along with the working windmills, and cheese museums. The overall vibe of this place will make you fall in love with it.
