Recently I have been thinking to visit one of the 7 wonders of the world- The Taj Mahal, Agra. I was not much excited while I planned this quick getaway, however, I was too amazed watching this beauty in front of my eyes. If you also planning to visit the Taj Mahal during COVID times, read everything you need to know.

I wanted to stay at some unique homestay here, just like my all other trips. So after a lot of research, I found this cute and cozy homestay, only a km away from Taj Mahal. The place was so full of colors, unique plantations, and antique items adding charm to it that I instantly fell in love with it.

Ideal for

This property is ideal for family, couples and even the family stay. Location is just an km away from Taj Mahal so it will be easier for you go by walk as well.

About the property

The property is a large villa styled and is arranged on three floors. The entire property is painted in brilliant hues of blue and orange. A small lawned garden with amazing color combinations all around you will make you feel delighted. It is run by Sanjay and Pratibha.

Rooms

Rooms are large with marble floor, super king or twin beds with ceiling fan as well as Air Conditioning. Bathrooms are very clean and spacious with a walk-in shower. Rooms are decorated with unique antique items and themes of contemporary Indian artists, tribal art, and period furniture.

Rooms are equipped with TV, electric kettle and have chic art décor interior.

Cost

A double room with a Bathroom will cost you around 2200 Rs per night. This includes a complimentary breakfast. For more information, check out their website.

Food

They have an arrangement of home-cooked vegetarian meals for 300 Rs per person. Complimentary breakfast included tea, pakodas, bread toast, tea and milk.

COVID rules

Due to COVID rules, only 5000 visitors are allowed per day at Taj Mahal and you need to book the slot online. They have Rs 50 and Rs 250 tickets, the latter one includes entrance to Mausoleum as well. You can book online from here. Also wearing masks is mandatory inside the Taj Mahal.
