Stay at Pahalgam, by the side of Lidder river – Property Review

Posted on 7th March 20217th September 2021

In Pahalgam, we stayed at Hotel Wildflower resort, which is located on the banks of the River Lidder. Here in this blog, I will be sharing a detailed review of this property.

Ideal for

Hotel Wildflower Resort is ideal for everyone. Maybe the fans of the movie Jab Tak hai Jaan would definitely love to visit the bridge where a part of the movie was shot. The bridge is on the way to the hotel.

About the property

The property is located on the banks of River Lidder. From Srinagar Airport, it takes around 2 hrs to reach the WildFlower resort. The location of the resort is also the rafting point in Pahalgam.

Rooms

The room had good heating arrangements with a bed warmer, centralized heating system, and a floor heater as well. The food was good, sometimes it used to be waiting at the cafeteria due to the accommodation issues. Cloud 9 Restaurant was the all-day dining area at Wildflower resort.

How to reach from Srinagar

From Srinagar Airport, Hotel Wildflower Resort is 77.2 km, which takes about 1 hour 56 mins. Check out the website for more information

What to do around the property

The resort is located on the banks of the River Lidder. During wintertime, the river was not in full flow. However, the views around were beautiful with snow-clad mountains and frozen waterfalls. Take a walk outside, sit along the river, and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

One of the fight scenes of the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan was shot on the bridge over the Lidder river, on the way to the property. Relive the moment and capture the memories.
