India to Netherlands – A Perfect 3 days Itinerary

Posted on 1st September 20241st September 2024

Netherlands is among the most visited country of Europe and offers more than just its urban charm. From its iconic and fairy tale Dutch villages to famous Van Gogh Museum are among the many other attractions that Netherlands has in store.

We traveled from Paris to Netherlands by the high speed Thayls train with a planned stop over at Bruges, Belgium for half day, as it falls midway on the route.

To simplify city exploration, opt for accommodation in close proximity to the train station. This will be helpful when exploring places beyond Amsterdam, as train travel will be frequently required.

Although there are direct flights from India to Amsterdam, Netherlands. However an alternative Itinerary could include both Paris and Belgium, providing more comprehensive Europe Vacation. Watch to know how to Plan India to 3 Europeon countries in 1.5 Lakh of Budget.

Day 1 : Jordaan + Canal Tour + Museums + Palace + City walking

In the morning, visit Jordan which is known for its charming neighbourhood, historic buildings and lively atmosphere. Area is characterised by narrow streets, boutique shops and variety of cafe and restaurants. In the afternoon, visit some of the famous museums such as Rijksmuseum,Van Gogh Museum and you can also visit Royal Palace of Amsterdam.

Evening will be perfect time for canal tour. It will allow you to appreciate city’s beauty in a way that is both relaxing and enriching.

Day 2 : Zaans Schans + Zaandam

Zaans Schans is renowned all over the world for its working windmills and unique Dutch architectural open Museums. It is truly an Unseen side of Holland that surely will leave you in awe !!

The town of Zaadam is known for its lego shaped building. Around 15 mins from the Amsterdam, it is one of the unique experience in Netherlands.

Day 3 Giethoorn
