The City Palace doors are some of the most stunning doorways which are must be explored.
As far as your eyes roll in Jaipur, you will see vibrant colors and elegant architecture, be it some palace, fort, or just busy city roads. There are plenty of places in Jaipur where the dream of clicking Instagram and Pinterest-worthy pictures can come true.

Divan-e-Khas, City Palace Jaipur

The marble-floored and chandelier-lit anteroom of the second courtyard is known as Divan-e-Khas. All the important ceremonies among officials and courtiers were conducted here. The red stone archways supported with marble pillar is so stunning, its hard to justify with the words.

The proper sunshine day is a great time to capture some beautiful shots here. It is preferable to visit either early in the morning or an hour before the closing time, to avoid crowds. If possible, visit on a weekday, weekends are packed with tourists.

The Rose Gate in the City palace depicts the winter season. It has repeated rose patterns and is dedicated to Goddess Devi.

The fourth Gate, also called the Leheriya Gate(waves gate) is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is in gorgeous Green color indicating spring.

The northeastern peacock gate depicts autumn and has a small idol of Lord Vishnu on its lintel.

The southwest Gate or the lotus gate is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati. It is adorned with Lotus petals and stunning floral patterns. The detailed flower work and captivating colors will surely leave you spellbound.
