Amsterdam Canals:

No visit to Amsterdam is complete without experiencing the enchanting canals that crisscross the city. Take a canal cruise or simply stroll along the canal banks to admire the elegant canal houses, historic bridges, and bustling waterfront scenes. The best way to appreciate the canals is by taking a boat tour, which offers a unique perspective of the city.

Royal Palace of Amsterdam

Located on Dam Square, the Royal Palace of Amsterdam is a stunning example of Dutch architecture. Originally built as a city hall in the 17th century, it was later converted into a royal palace. Step inside and marvel at the opulent interiors, adorned with exquisite artworks and furnishings. Guided tours are available to learn about the history and significance of this iconic landmark.

Amsterdam Square

Adjacent to the Royal Palace, Amsterdam Square (or Koningsplein) is a bustling public square that serves as a meeting point and a hub of activity. Enjoy the lively atmosphere, visit the various shops and boutiques, or relax at one of the outdoor cafés while observing the vibrant city life.

Museumplein

Head to Museumplein, a cultural hub that houses some of Amsterdam’s most famous museums. To reach Museumplein from Amsterdam Central, you can take a tram or walk, as it is approximately a 25-minute walk. Here, you’ll find the Van Gogh Museum, dedicated to the works of the iconic Dutch artist, Vincent van Gogh. Immerse yourself in his masterpieces and gain insights into his life and artistic journey.

Moco Museum

Located nearby, the Moco Museum showcases contemporary and modern art. Explore its diverse collection featuring works by renowned artists like Banksy, Salvador Dalí, and Roy Lichtenstein. The museum often hosts temporary exhibitions that offer fresh perspectives on contemporary art.

Stedelijk Museum
