India to Busan | Exploring South Korea | 3 Days perfect Itinerary

Posted on 2nd January 20262nd January 2026

Looking for a perfect 3-day itinerary to explore Busan? This vibrant South Korean city offers a mix of rich culture, breathtaking coastal views, and exciting activities. In just three days, you can explore seven must-see spots while experiencing the best of Busan’s charm. Here’s how to make the most of your adventure:

Day 1: Temples and Coastal Views

1. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
Start your Busan journey by visiting the stunning Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a unique oceanside Buddhist temple. Follow the route from Suyeong Station, and try to reach by 10:00 AM to avoid the crowds. The walk to the temple is lined with cherry blossom trees, offering you a perfect opportunity to take in Korea’s famous blooms.

The temple’s serene surroundings and mystical reputation make it a must-visit. Spend about an hour exploring the temple grounds, soaking in the coastal views, and admiring the Buddhist statues before heading to your next destination.

2. Haeundae Blue Line Park
From Haedong Yonggungsa, follow the route map to reach Haeundae Blue Line Park. It takes about an hour, and this stop is a must for anyone visiting Busan. Here, you’ll find the Busan Sky Capsule, a romantic aerial rail capsule that takes you 7-10 meters above the ground, offering spectacular coastal views as it travels for 2 kilometers along the shoreline.

Board the capsule at Mipo Station and enjoy the scenic ride before disembarking at Cheongsapo Station. From there, take a leisurely walk along the Busan Green Railway Coastal Walking Trail. You’ll pass iconic spots like Dalmaji Tunnel, Jungsaengpo Skywalk, and the famous Red Lighthouse along the way.

Day 2: Cultural Villages

3. Gamcheon Culture Village
On your second day, start by visiting the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village. Follow the map to reach the village, which takes about 45 minutes. Busan’s Gamcheon Village is famous for its steep stairs, twisting alleys, and charming, colorful houses. The village is often referred to as the “Machu Picchu of Busan”, and you’ll find art installations and murals on every corner, making it a photographer’s dream.

Spend your time wandering the narrow streets, exploring local shops, and admiring the vibrant art that brings this village to life.

4. Huinnyeoul Culture Village
Next, head to Huinnyeoul Culture Village, another artistic and picturesque spot. Nestled by the seaside, this village offers a perfect mix of coastal views and vibrant art. It’s often called Korea’s Santorini, and it’s no wonder why—it offers stunning views of the sea, colorful houses, and cozy cafes where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. If you’re a fan of Korean cinema, you’ll recognize this village as the backdrop for the popular movie, The Attorney.

Day 3: Skywalks and Cherry Blossoms

5. Oryukdo Skywalk
Kick off your third day with a thrilling experience at the Oryukdo Skywalk, located about 50 minutes away. This glass-bottom structure offers breathtaking views of the ocean, where you can watch the waves crash beneath your feet. The Skywalk is suspended high above the water and provides a clear view of the blue sea and surrounding islands. It’s an exciting way to start your final day in Busan, offering the perfect mix of beauty and adrenaline.

The Skywalk opens at 9:00 AM, so try to arrive early and make the most of the quiet morning hours before it gets crowded.

6. Samnak Ecological Park
Afterward, head to Samnak Ecological Park to witness the stunning Cherry Blossom Festival. This park is a cherry blossom haven, with streets lined with thousands of blooming trees. It’s the perfect spot to immerse yourself in South Korea’s cherry blossom season, with pink petals creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. Don’t forget your camera, as this is one of the most beautiful sights you’ll see on your trip.

7. Seomyeon Night Market
Wrap up your Busan adventure by exploring the bustling Seomyeon Night Market. Since we stayed in Seomyeon, we took advantage of the lively atmosphere in the evening. This area is packed with cafes, restaurants, fashion stores, and cosmetic shops.

Sample delicious Korean street food, shop for souvenirs, and experience the vibrant nightlife before calling it a day.
